The information in this book is very well put together and it is a great source of information for people who work with cats. However, I'm not sure if this book is for the ordinary pet owner, unless the person has some veterinary background. For example, in Chapter 2, "Feline Behavior of Sensor and Neural Origin," the author explains The Senses and gives good detail on External and Internal Visual System Development and Characteristics. I don't think I would have been able to understand all that information, had I not taken my class on Anatomy and Physiology of Domestic Animals, as part of my Grooming Diploma program.
Chapter 4 on Feline Social Behavior is excellent for somebody who works with cats, be it at a shelter, a cattery, grooms cats, shows cats or simply has a multiple-cat household. Chapter 9, Feline Locomotive Behavior, also offers excellent information, including this amazing chart on all the adult movements like walking, ambling, trotting, pacing and galloping.
I really ejoyed this book and it is the type of book you will always go back to, when you need good information about felines. I definitely recommend "Feline Behavior" -A Guide for Veterinarians- to people who share their lives with cats, works with them or just want to learn more about these fascinating and enigmatic creatures.

A rather large and beautiful waterfall cascades down into a medium sized river with many smaller creeks running off of it it all pretty much ends up in the ocean.
