    Enjoyable

Dan Pence describes the evolution wildland fire fighting in an enjoyable manner through his personal experiences. I'm not certain I would have enjoyed the old methods although the adrenaline rush would have made it worthwhile.

    Don't Miss It!

Dan Pence takes you for a wild ride through the world of wildfires with the men and women who battle them! There is never a dull moment in this dangerous, yet exciting world and you feel as if you are right there with Dan as he relates his experiences. Dan succeeds in revealing his love for his job and for those he works with in what has to be one of the most hazardous of occupations! He inserts personal anecdotes into the non-stop smoke-and-flames narrative that help the reader catch his breath for a moment. Don't miss this great read by a guy who really knows his stuff and has paid his dues in the world of smoke chasers!
