Adult/High School-This official, authorized companion to the movie will be helpful to anyone wanting background about Middle-earth, the ancient history of the rings of power, and the main characters and creatures in J. R. R. Tolkien's work. Readers will learn the history of the free peoples of Middle-earth, hobbits, elves, dwarves, and men. The book ends with the Istari, an Elvish term meaning an order or brotherhood of wizards; Gandalf the Grey and Saruman the White are highlighted in this section. Holy Moley!! It's Earthshattering!

I've written quite a few reveiws but this one is the hardest. This book cannot be expressed by words that exist! It's Fantabulously Extravigreat! Just... wow! Tolkien did it again.

    OH MY GOSH!!!!

I was so amazed by the quality of this book! The pictures were outstanding and the information was so cool! I can't wait to get the other two! If they are half as good as this one was, I will give them both five stars as well!!

    OMG, I WAS AMAZED!!!!!!!

OMG, i was SOOOO amazed by this book!!! It has basicly all of the important places in Middle-earth, and information about imortant people in them. It gives you a TON of facts, many of which i did not know. Like, did EVERYONE know that Frodo and Merry are second cousins??? It had detailed pictures of creatures and scenery. It had EVERYTHING a LOTR fan could want. When I checked this out from my local library, i though: 'Well, this might be good. I mean, FOTR isn't the best LOTR movie, but still...' BOY was i wrong!!!!! I would go out and buy it right now, but the only problem with these delightful visual companions is that they are in enduring hardcover, which also means that they are very expensive. But I urge you to check them out from a library, or buy them if you have enough money. They are delightful I feel 'graced by the grace of Valar' that I have had a chance to read this.

The Lord Of The Rings: The FellowShip Of The Ring

The book The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellow ship was a good book. It had a lot of adventure, action, and traveling in it. The places in the book had really weird names. The names of the people in the book were names that I never heard before in my life.

    LORD OF THE RINGS RULES!!!!!!

My favorite character is Bilbo and Frodo because Bilbo was in the mine. I thought that was cool. He adopted Frodo. He became a wizard.

    WOW

This had rich information on visual/ special effects. Its a great book especially because there are a lot of cg in the movie. This book is great to have and you can appreciate the special effects and how much work they put in to it! This book will knock you off your toes, and it is brilliant for people who are in to special effects. This book kept me ecstatic all day, and I couldn't get my eyes off it!
