Overview

Sex may take place in The City, but there's plenty of sass in the suburbs. While Linda Sharp and Shana Moore might cop to being housewives, these gals are far from desperate. Rather than finding their thrills with a pool boy, Sharp and Moore delight in taking the head-splitting struggles all women experience, and making you laugh until your sides have busted their seams.

Rather than finding their thrills with a pool boy, Sharp and Moore delight in taking the head-splitting struggles all women experience, and making you laugh until your sides have busted their seams.

Linda and Shana tell it like you've experienced it...only this time around it's funny. Their flat out honest portrayals of PMS and unearned sweat; puppies and grown women who piddle; sagging breasts and husbands who often act like boobs, will leave you smiling, and feeling less alone in your leaky rowboat.

I snarfed wine in my bubblebath...more than once!

Bottom line: it's a fantastic book. Full of funny stories and tales that make us moms not feel quite so alone in this great big world. Keep in mind that it's more than just a collection of humor essays-- this all-too-true book of confessions tells a great story of a budding friendship, the kind that keep women from losing their minds. Read it. And have your friends read it. Then get together over coffee and laugh all over again while celebrating motherhood and womanhood alike.

Like Oil and Vinegar - They Mix Well!

Pity the poor soul who gets caught in this 21st century, electronic melee. When funny gal Linda Sharp¿s rabid fire observations are bounced off her pen pal Shana Moore the result is a witty repartee loaded with acerbic commentary. No subject is sacred. Topics like dieting, sex, husbands and kids are treated with the same caustic playfulness.

    Hilarious Homerun!

Telling all my friends about this one! I got it during our Book Club Christmas exchange and feel sorry for all the other women who lost out! Will be recommending this as one for the whole group to read. I cannot wait to hear the conversations it starts!!

Laughing out loud is such good fun!

I curled up on the couch to read a chapter or two of Femail and couldn't put it down. I wanted to be in on those emails as the authors add the right twist to all of a gal's trials and tribulations. The women in my life can expect a copy under the tree from me. Everyone deserves the kind of laughs served up by Femail.

    Funny From Start To Finish!

I could not get my hands on this book fast enough and when I started it I could not put it down! Every truism about being female, being a mom, being a wife is laid bare! With topical stories interspersed with emails, the book flows so well. But watch out when these ladies start going in email form! The laughs are enough to make everyone around you think you have lost your mind - you just can't stop giggling! This book has just made my Christmas shopping a breeze - I'm getting a copy for every single woman on my list, young and old!
