    As a woman in business, I always found myself was threatened by

    As a woman in business, I always found myself was threatened by men’s confidence and how well they present themselves. I work as hard as men but I don't get as much attention as male coworkers. After read Catherine Kaputa’s female branding book, I realized that it is not only about hard work, it is also about branding. As she stated in the book: hard work + branding = success. Personally, I consider myself a hard worker but I don't quite know how to brand myself, which is probably why I did not stand out.

    I have learned in her book that men don't leave their advantages behind when they go to work and neither should women. I have also learned that being a businesswoman, you have to overcome your shyness and self-consciousness, brand yourself the right way in order to achieve success.
