Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"Breast cancer in the beginning that was hard to talk about. So it takes a while before you can put it into a category that you can discuss without becoming emotional" Olivia Newton John said to Bluewater about her coming out publicly about breast cancer.

We are happy to work with her on this comic and to hopefully play at least a small role in the fight against breast cancer."

"Olivia Newton-John has had an amazing career," said Darren Davis, founder and president of Bluewater Productions. "Her greatest victory, though, come in 1992, when she survived her battle with breast cancer.

Meet the Author

Sandra has loved writing since she was a little kid. I remember first writing a short story in 3rd grade that won a prize. I think that was the impetus for me. I think back to that sometimes and say to myself that was where it all started, I knew at that point I had a gift - ha! All it took was a prize in 3rd grade. I think also I have always been more on the shy side so I find that writing is a good way to express myself and what goes on in my mind.

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - GREAT STORY!

I just got this today! It's a terrific happy, sad, and happy story again about Olivia Newton Johns upbeat and positive attitude toward cancer and how she's not going to let this get her down. Instead she's turning this into something positive and helping other women by being an inspirational leader taking a pro-active role in breast cancer. The artwork, story, and colors are excellent! Olivia is an inspiration and a terrific role model. Reading this you will learn a lot about Olivia's career and family. Did you know Olivia's father Brinley was a professor and her mother Irene was the daughter of Nobel Prize winner Max Born, a well known atomic bomb physicist? We can help turn hope into better health for those with cancer by contacting Olivia's Cancer and Wellness Centre; Embracing medical care and wellness. On the back of this book Olivia says, "I'm proud to support a unique cancer centre that will include world-class scientific research and patient-centered treatment, alongside the best of wellness care. It's not just about treating cancer; it's about healing the whole person - body, mind and spirit." Highly recommend all of Olivia's CDs and one in particular A Celebration in Song is dedicated to Cancer Wellness Centered as a portion of the proceeds of CD go to Wellness Center. Each song is performed with a meaningful message about breast cancer. The song sung by Belinda Emmett called Beautiful Thing will tug at your heart. Belinda passed away Nov 14, 2006 at the young age of 32 of breast cancer. I'm with you Olivia:) Your #1 fan and hopelessly devoted to you!
