Meet the Author

Lurea C. McFadden was born in Harlem, New York. She is now a native of Trenton, NJ, where she works for the State of New Jersey. She attended Jacksonville University where she received a Bachelors of Arts Degree in History. She has spent many years working in the public schools system as a Social Studies Teacher. She is an avid fan of the NFL. She is currently completing her latest novel.

    Female Traits Trilogy

    This was well written I could not put the book down. On a scale of 1-10, I choose 10. Poor Edwin, heartless Grace, Phil was left in outfield. Brian and Sonia a new beginning.

    Semi okay...

    The main thing that I loved about this book is that the sterograph of the roles that men and women play in a relationship were reversed. The men were the ones with broken hearts and tears and the women were the ones doing the due.

    Wonderful, well writen

    I found this book a wonderful read. It is seeing from a woman's point of view through a man's eye. That is excatly how in my opinion a man treats his wife. Bravo, cheating men should read this. Who am I kidding

    Very Good Read But...

    I enjoyed this book very much and could not put it down. I only took away one star because it seems like it was written in 1994...not 2004. In my humble opinion ...the verbage was kind of corny. And the other star because I felt it jumped around A LOT. Other than that I definitely recommend it.

    OK, 4 stars only because I was deeply disturbed by the overuse o

    OK, 4 stars only because I was deeply disturbed by the overuse of certain words thrown into this project. Words that were just placed into sentences in all caps, too many 'fiones' and 'honies'. (It took me a few minutes to catch on to what those words meant.) Those things distracted me a little but in the end it was an awesome story line. The characters were interesting and believable. I have also just purchased the last two installments because I HAVE to know what happens next with Grace, Sonia, Brian, and Edwin! Overall good job, you have got me hooked!

    Awsome

    Very good book. To any female who possess such traits pls read. Maybe u will stop & think b4 you decide to play such a game with the feelings of your husband & outside lover. You'll lose them both. If u are not mature enough to deal with having a good husband (not a perfect husband) then don't marry one. Get married to what you are used to; A DOG who would like to play the game as well as you!!! Leave the good ones for a real woman who deserves him. Marie in Bmore.

    Not Bad.

    The author has great potential. I love the concept but it seemed like the story was all over the place. I also agree with another reviewer who stated that the verbiage was kind of outdated. But I do recommend this book.

    Great read

    I'm gonna keep it all the way real... this FREE book is a great read! I just paid for the sequal and probably will buy the 3rd. It kills me to see "english majors" I suppose, rate a book on grammar errors...with a great read who really cares BTW I saw no errors. This book had a great story line, flowed easily from one character's situation to the next, and was full of suspense, heartfelt, and juicy. I definitely recommend this to readers.

    Fantastic!

    I couldn't have enjoyed this more! The characters were described so well and the story line would gram you from the first chapter! I will definitely read the rest off this authors work.

    Good read. The grass is not always greener on the otherside. Take care of home and you will not have to look somewhere else. I am looking for her next book.
