Meet the Author

Linda Welch was born in Hampshire, England. After moving to the USA, she lived in Idaho, California and New Mexico before settling in Utah. She now lives in a mountain valley, more or less halfway up the mountainside, with her husband and Scottish terrier. Unlike Tiff Banks, the heroine of Linda's Whispering series of paranormal mysteries, she is not tall and white-haired, does not see demons and hasn't seen a dead person for a while. What she does see are moose, deer, raccoon, skunk, wild turkey, a huge bird population and a ridiculous amount of snow. When not working at her other job, and depending on the season, she is usually tending to her Scottie, filling the bird feeders, futilely attacking the weeds in her garden or shoveling out after a snowstorm. Femme Fatales is her first foray into short stories and a darker urban fantasy theme.
