The Wickit Chronicles (book 2), Fen Gold by Joan Lennon was an amazing children¿s adventure story. The authors' use of vivid detail allows the reader to picture every scene in their mind. The adventure takes unexpected turns that creates suspense and keeps the reader on edge. The unexpected obstacles that the characters face are truly unique, and only add to the story¿s feeling of adventure. The way the story¿s setting changes adds even more suspense, mystery, and adventure. Once you start reading this book, you won't want to put it down until you have finished reading it. I would recommend reading this book to anyone who likes different but interesting characters, lots of vivid details for the imagination, and an extraordinary adventure.
