Overview

Most women cite adultery, financial ruin, or irreconcilable differences for the demise of their marriages, Lily Chamberlayne cites a dark musty closet…
After Lily returns from a disastrous second honeymoon in which her high-powered attorney husband cops to having an affair with his trashy legal assistant (so cliché she could book them a spot on Jerry Springer), she’s forced to pick up the pieces and start again. And what better place than the New York City doorstep of her lifelong friend, Brook Bellevue, a rock journalist for a cable station, who’s also newly single.
Enter Lily’s wacky mother, Lauraine, who believes the pair’s failed relationships are due to the bad energy trapped in their living spaces. During an urgent visit, with her pony-tailed Feng Shui Designer in tow, she insists on transforming the girls’ apartment into a perfectly rearranged peaceful and harmonious space (insert eye roll here). But when positive changes result almost immediately, Lily can’t help getting caught up in the Feng Shui frenzy herself as she’s inundated with a new batch of suitors; her very own Dr. Dreamy, her nerdy classmate from 11th grade biology, and even her ex-husband is back for forgiveness. But what she didn’t count on conjuring up were long buried secrets, proving that a little Feng Shui can go a long way!
Feng Shui Love has been optioned twice as a television show, but has yet to find a home with a network… fingers still crossed. Fans of Chick Lit Stars, Sophie Kinsella and Jane Green will love this fast paced Romantic Comedy!

Reviews
Feng Shui Love is a fun shui read! --Cindy Williams, “Laverne & Shirley”
Joni Davis and Lisa Hyatt have tossed up an array of quirky, likeable, and yes, sometimes duplicitous characters just like the people we know in the mixing bowl of life for a fun, entertaining read. My recommendation? Stop rearranging your furniture and spend your time reading Feng Shui Love. Along the way you might learn a little about life its own self. --Emyl Jenkins, “The Big Steal”

Meet the Author

Lisa Hyatt finally hung up her wings from a 20 year career as a corporate flight attendant where her job was flying with various celebrities, royalty and world leaders around the globe on private business jets. (Sounds like material for a novel right there!) She continues to write on various projects and currently lives in Richmond, Virginia.
Joni Davis is a partner with the entertainment law firm of Schroder, Fidlow and Titley, PLC. Her diverse clients include authors, artists and musicians, who are often seen scurrying out of her office with a suspicious pink heart and instructions to clear their love corner. She lives in Richmond, Virginia.
The Authors are not Feng Shui experts, and the book is a work of fiction, but both women will admit to using the ancient art and have happily found their own Feng Shui Loves! They have multiple success stories helping transform the love lives of friends, family and casual acquaintances. They have begun work on a non-fiction guide and often participate in singles events offering tips and advice to attract love. They also have a sequel coming, Feng Shui Love Child, with Lily and the gang at it again. Stay tuned to see what surprises they inadvertently feng shui into their lives this time around!

I really enjoyed this story. The frienship between Brook and Lily and their romance debacles were so refreshing.

JustPeachy, this is a place for reviews, not your synopsis. Aquaint yourself with the difference. Ruining books for others is rude. This is not the first plot you have ruined for me. Your book reports have popped up for several other novels as well. Get a blog, or a clue. I can understand your enthusiasm for a book. I applaud your literacy, too. Your manners, however, need some work. Hope you don't "review" movies, too.

I am usually a mystery reader, love Mary Higgins Clark, but having some personal connection with this book, thought I would give it a try...so glad I did. Funny and heart warming, couldn't put it down and can't wait for the next one!

I normally like stories that have some action or adventure in them so to find that I really liked this one is a surprise. I was looking for something without emotional drama since the last book I read was very depressing, this one was perfect. All the players had some depth and charm. I'm very glad I picked this one :)

Someone sent me this ebook as a gift because I'm really into feng shui, and I wasn't expecting much from the premise, but I have to say that I ended up really liking this! I laughed out loud several times and even teared up at one emotional scene with her father, a supporting character I wanted to know better. Nice fun read, glad I gave it a chance, and looking forward to sequel.

I too live on the Outer banks...I came across this book by accident...it was in a box of books to be thrown out by someone...I rescued it or should I say it rescued me! Could not put it down...Laughed out loud constantly...it was like my best friend was there beside me... Can't wait for the next one!

In this attention deficit age we live in, with less than zero disposable time available.(I confess, I am guilty as charged) I found this well worth my time. It is a two for one. You get to learn real Feng Shui Love tips while being entertained by a great story. If only school's curriculum would have approached learning this way I would probably be a Rocket Scientist. :-)Excellent fast read. Thanks!

I could not put this book down. An easy read that keeps your interest from beginning to end. Lots of twists and turns and right as you think you know what's going to happen next it makes another turn. I would highly recommend this book. I can't wait for the sequel.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Feng Shui Love. It's an "easy to read" book that keeps the reader entertained from beginning to end. The authors give a sneak peak into the follow up book which is a great tease! The characters are easy to relate with and the Feng Shui influence makes for an interesting twist! I would recommend this book to friends and family.

My Synopsis. Leo, Libra, Cancer. What's your sign? In Feng Shui Love, by Joni Davis & Lisa Hyatt we meet Lily and Brook, two friends who learn what it's like to be single in a fast paced world. They try everything from speed dating to an overnight singles campout to find Mr. Right. Lily's mother a convert to the Chinese system of Feng Shui convinces the girls that if they re-organize the furniture and put in an order to the universe, they'll get just what they ask for. But is what they ask for, what they really want? Can an idea sometimes blind you to what's right under your nose. My Thoughts. I enjoyed this book a lot. Once I started reading I was hooked. Davis & Hyatt use just enough humor to make us all laugh at situations we've either been in or can see ourselves getting into. I liked the way Lily's relationship with each of the other characters changes throughout the story. From her deep friendship with Brook to her new and scary relationship with her father, Walter. We see Lily grow and learn. Her relationship with Will is classic. She finds out that love may not come from where you expect it. Isn't that the truth!!
