I just dont think this is appropriate for little ones. At one point the smoke is so bad they are choking and another they may burn to death. Lets let our babies not face reality for at least little while hmmm?

My 4 yr old daughter requests this one all the time and afterwards we talk about fire safety overall good book

The story is told in an Australian accent, which my two year old had no problem following. The story is cute, well illustrated and free

This book REALLY surprised me. Why would you have a book that people choke and almost burn to death? Is this some kind of joke? I read this to make sure it was safe. IT WAS NOT! This really upset me B&N. You guys let me down. I was hoping that we had a decent book. We didn't! Sorry but, it was not very considerate of these little kids. Shame on you author. I was VERY surprised

Really? Common sense people, if you think it is not appropite for your little ones dont have them read it! I honestly think this book is great for kids my little brother loves it. And they are never to younge to face reality. HMMMM?

The illistrasions were terrible.i recall the time when my friends little GIRL turned violent when it had the word "death".she had a hard time getting her out of it.luckily,5months later it wore off.Proaboaly because they are asians.they are smart. Idid NOT buy that book.thats why it was sooooo cheap!

Our family really enjoyed this read to me book. The narration brought this book to life and was done beautifully. We would love to see even more books like this for kids and older kids too. It sure beat using the reader on the nook "ten fold"!
