 If you are thinking of starting a family and want a clear understanding of how to optimize your chances of conceiving you should read this book. Fertility for Beginners is an informative look into ovulation and what can impede a woman’s natural cycle. You will also learn about traditional and alternative therapies that can restore your body’s balance and increase your fertility.

This is a good book for those who do not know much about fertility and want to try to get pregnant using a natural approach. The descriptions are clear and many specific strategies are described. The recipes that are part of the book sound good, but will require time and effort on part of the cook. A good book for those just learning about the process of fertility.

The charts, references, glossary, and basic information on fertility go beyond the basic dietary advice implied in the title. For anyone looking to know more about fertility in general, this book provides most to all that you would want to know for both partners. The author writes for the women and men looking to make a family.  There are basic food lists as well as recipes suited for most any diet.

If you're struggling to start a family, you fin yourself buried in suggestions about how to increase fertility and make a pregnancy more likely. This book is an excellent starting point for couples looking to conceive. It offers a range of helpful lifestyle suggestions and lays out a diet that will help increase the overall health of the mother-to-be. No book can offer up answers for every couple, but this is as good a primer as you'll find.

The helpful advice covers things that men need to know too, so its a great book for letting couples take that next step into procreation. This book explains the interesting science of ovulation, the specific cells and their jobs that help produce eggs, and the truths about the many myths in the world. There are also some interesting ways to figure out exactly when you are most fertile. The recipes are versatile, ranging from recipes you can do in 10 minutes to recipes that can take the whole day.

Anyone who is interested in the different functions of the body such as fertility should read this book.  It  covers the history of fertility, the science and the negatives that can affect it.  It thoroughly explains that a  healthy lifestyle and diet including exercise play a major role in fertility.  There is a list of food included that is believed to be fertility boosting as well as vitamins and supplements, there are also a number of recipes offered.  Everything is explained in detail including how women can chart their cycles so that when they ovulate, they have the best chance to conceive.  Overall the book is informative and interesting to read all the way through.

I felt that Fertility for Beginners is very informational. It went into great detail about every aspect of pre pregnancy. The book gave explanations on every possible symptom a woman can face during this exciting time in her life. The book not only spoke about pregnancy but also the human body. As a fitness enthusiast I found this book to be very helpful, they provide us with great information about not only the female body but the male body as well. At the end they gave us healthy recipes for everyday eating. Although at the moment I am not looking to get pregnant, I still found all the information in the book very useful. I did not pay for this book.

Fertility for Beginners is a general guide to health and fertility. The information provided is mostly based on a ten year study conducted at Harvard.  I felt that after reading the book that I would be able to read and understand the study.  The glossary provided helped greatly and I feel would be of use when reading other books.  A few examples of the charts they suggest that you make would have been helpful, as I had trouble visualizing it with the descriptions given.  The section dealing with common misconceptions was very clear and helped.  A good, easy to read book

The Harvard study was reassuring.The insert about eastern and western philosophies makes this a well thought through read. This book will give you straight forward answers on vitamins and there uses. Every good approach to healthy living should include exercise, which this book talks about.The recipe part seems very tasty and well planned out. I believe the information will be helpful for any couple looking to get pregnant. My opinion is valid. This book was given to me however. I plan on recommending it. Enjoy the read!

An amazing codex of fertility methods. Not only does this book refer to medical treatments, but it also covers natural and holistic alternatives. which is great especially for anyone who cant afford methods like IVF. It also allows the reader to learn about the processes the body experiences throughout ovulation. I've even seen a few of the methods discussed work with great success. Definitely a great read for those trying to conceive or even thinking about it.  Even though I recently ate browsing through the recipes my mouth started watering they sound that yummy.

When you are first starting down the road of trying to get pregnant, there are many different resources out there which can be frustrating. This book however is a good general guide to help you get started. I like how it covers many issues, including the males part In the fertility dance, the importance of diet, exercise and stress reduction, etc. The part about visualization kind of had my eyes rolling, but if you’re into that, then it might be helpful.

Fertility for Beginners is a relaxing read. The title is pretty clear about the books contents, but it is even more than that as it includes a healthy amount of material on the large topic, a large number of recipes with a 7 day meal plan. I thought the section on myths about fertility was helpful in answering questions a lot of people have in regards popular beliefs about fertility. The data is cited in the back of the book, categorized by chapter making it easy to investigate further.

Not only is Fertility for Beginners a great learning guide for those interested in increasing their chances of conceiving, but it's also a great tool for promoting good health in general. Even though I'm not looking to conceive anytime soon, I know that that will come and I want to be prepared. This books covers so much ground as it helps readers understand that they do not have to result to spending money on fertility treatments when there's so many options to try first. I would suggest this book to anyone who's interested in having children one day, whether they have issues conceiving or not, mainly because it is a good read and it expresses the matter of being healthy in order to give your baby a healthy start.

When I first cracked this book I was impressed with this its knowledge of science but the further I read the more I realized that this book was really just a diet book with a lot of rhetoric about fertility in the beginning. The science is factual but one could easily familiarize themselves with the facts by doing independent research, though I was heartened to know that the author urged the readers to consult physicians as well as get moderate exercise 3 times a week. Healthy lifestyles lead to healthier bodies, which can help regulate the feminine machine: that much should go without saying, so there’s almost no need to write a book about it. The diet portion is not as strict as you might think, with lots of options for sweets, though you’ll have to shop by the meal plans because not everyone has mackerel in their crisper. Overall, good diet, though I’m unconvinced that it will do anything for your fertility.

Looking for practical ways to increase fertility? This book offers not only straightforward biological explications surrounding the wonders and intricacies of fertility and human anatomy, it also illustrates the way certain dietary adaptations can improve your chances of the proverbial “Stork” come soaring your way! In spite of the fact that the meal recipes are limited, the book goes to great lengths in differentiating between dietary options and practices that both promote and damage individual fertility. Those, like myself, who find the book’s primary content as irrelevant can still responsibly invest in purchasing it for future reference and/or someone else in your life aspiring to be a parent someday.

This book does allot more than just introduce the reader into intuitive concepts for increasing the likely hood of conception.  It  initially takes a cursory look at procedures and lifestyle practices one can use to increase fertility.  After which, it goes into great detail of these topics.  All in all, my wife and I found this to be as helpful as it is accessible.  I would strongly recommend this book to anyone who is trying to conceive.

This book has all the answers to your questions if you’re trying to conceive. It tells you step by step on what you need to do if you’re planning or even thinking about conceiving a baby the right way. I just love the way it has the recipes in the back and how great this book is with the information it tells you. It’s interesting how it says women under the age of twenty-five has a 96% chance of being conceived in a year. I believe that’s just the right time to get pregnant for if you wait until you’re older there’s a 34% chance if you do conceive a baby you’ll end up miscarrying.

This book is great. A lot of great looking recipes. A lot of different and interesting approchess to increasing fertility and chances of conception. I really enjoy that it even iterates on chinese medicinal practices, and that it comes with its own diet guide. My wife is currently pregnant with our baby girl, and we are going to try with the help of this book for a boy next year.

It’s easy to be lead astray by questionable news sources and articles found all over the internet, however Fertility for Beginners is  easily digestible, fact proven information helps guide the reader through the entire fertility process.

I wish I had this book at the time when we were trying for a baby and no one even told us about balanced life and diet to get on a better path to fertility! I highly recommend the book to all who are working on getting pregnant. The book has plenty of information that will help you understand the best times to conceive, how to read the signs that your own body gives you, and how to get on a path of healthier eating. The book has practical and doable recipes that are well organized and outlined. After reading the book, I am even thinking of going to my wife and telling her, “Let’s try again for a baby!”
