Overview

Part of the 1-800-DOM-help series.

Kirk, Master to his long-time lover Evan, decides it's time to place his permanent collar around Evan's sexy cock. But when he proposes, he faces a surprise. Evan wants a child. So where will they find a kinky woman to help?

A mysterious card with the 1-800-DOM-help number advertises assistance for unusual problems in the BDSM community. When Evan calls, he recognizes the voice of Sarah-Kirk's best friend from childhood, Evan's Mistress of several years in college. They both loved her and suffered betrayal when she walked out of their lives.

Now she proposes to be the mother of their child. No strings, just a chance to have the men she respects and loves back in her life. Evan embraces the idea while Kirk rages with mistrust.

At Evan's request, they share one night of passion, Kirk and Sarah working together to dominate Evan in the scene of his erotic fantasies, hoping it will be enough to rekindle trust and make all their dreams come true.

    Unforgettable

Now this one is one to read. A dom and domme and a will sub, what an amazing read.

    Hot Read

Some subs learn to lead while beneath their Domme. Evan has perfected this technique, which allows him to get both of the loves of his life to agree to punish him together one last time.

The joint and separate backgrounds each character had in this story provided me with opportunity to connect with them on a deeper level. All of the characters suffered traumas at a young age. These experiences gave them common ground. Their flawed backgrounds also gave credence to see why they clung to each other while trying to still maintain distance. These childhood soft spots allowed me to relate to each character separately as well as together, which in turn helped me really envision the relationship. Those same issues that drew them together are also what keeps them apart. So the question I found myself asking was; will their history be enough to keep them together forever?

At times, I really felt connected with the storyline in this novella, but sometimes I was left feeling a bit disconnected. I had to step away to look at it with fresh eyes to get the connection back. Kirk and Sarah couldn't seem to get along for more than 5-10 minutes at a time. While this did add terrific conflict to the story, it sometimes left me questioning the validity of the romantic plot. Even at the end of the story I questioned the longevity of the relationship. I think that the characters still had some growth needed within themselves to truly convince me they would experience their happily ever after.

On a postive note, the author distinguished herself from the average BDSM storyline by writing Evan as a submissive that can top from the bottom. This intrigued me but I think that Evan had way too much power to be a true sub. For example Evan was allowed to speak and ask for the thing he wanted in this D/s relationship. In the end I realized that while the D/s relationship was a large part of their lives the love they felt for one another was more important.

The BDSM kink is explosive through out this entire story. Sexual intercourse is not a high priority for this triad. Fettered Love focused mainly on the foreplay/power play within the BDSM relationship. There is actually only one real penetration scene, yet the sexual play was still satisfying. So if you enjoy the BDSM experience for what it truly is and not just the sex you should thoroughly enjoy this story.

If you want a story heavy on the kink and emotions try Fettered Love . You won't be disappointed.
