Overview

The Feynman Lectures on Physics: Commemorative Issue, Three Volume Set.

  • Feynman's effective classroom style remains intact in these volumes, a valuable work by a remarkable educator.
  • The volumes are an edited version of Richard Feynman's lectures, taped and transcribed specifically for the books.
  • The three volume commemorative issue is either available hardbound and packaged in a specially designed slipcase, or in a paperbound edition.
This three volume work was originally designed for a two-year introductory physics course given at the California Institute of Technology — a course designed to take advantage of readers' increasing mathematical prowess and to provide a more comprehensive view of modern-day physics. It is a rigorous undertaking that resulted in a classic reference work for anyone interested in physics.

This series commemorates the 25th anniversary of the intial release of The Feynman Lectures on Physics, a classic introduction to the study of physics. The three volume set is based upon a course of lectures in introductory physics given by Professor Richard Feynman at the California Institute of Technology durng 1961 and 1962. Three hardcover volumes in a slipcase.

    Excellent Set of Books

Makes reading about Physics seem like reading Alice in Wonderland. Everyone's bookcase should have these three volumes. Beyond outstanding.

    Highly recommended!

The Feynman lectures on physics are great textbooks! They provide a detailed introduction of physics. However, if you want to know grand unified theory in detail, please go to read Wan-Jiung Hu's "Theories of Everything by Logic". It provides solution for dark matter and dark energy!
