FFRR Classics 1988-1998

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - John Bush
A three-disc history of the leading British dance label of the 1990s, ffrr Classics includes dozens of house, techno and hip-hop landmarks. Although there are going to be a few duds over the course of 50 tracks, the set is an intriguing look at the development of dance music, from American imports like "Push It" by Salt-N-Pepa, "Baby Wants to Ride" by Jamie Principle, and "French Kiss" by Lil' Louis to British contributions "MMM...Skyscraper I Love You" by Underworld, "Chime" by Orbital, and "Inner City Life" by Goldie.
