I woke up to darkness, the sun had not rissen yet. At first I was not sure as to what had woken me up when, off in the distance, I the distince barking of a dog. I scrambled to my feet and bolted out off the tree. I cursed silently to myself as the snow that ad fallen last night slowed me down. I ran as fast as I could, hearing the dog getting ever closer yapping its head off. It seemed like ages I ran untill I felt like my lungs would burst if I didn't stop. I spotted a tree up ahead and focused the rest of my energy into reaching the tree. I scrambled up just as the dogg reached it. It scrabbled franticly at the base trying to reach me. I hissed at it then I herd a shout in the distance. The dog reluctantly turned away from me and padded back into the bushes. I remained up in the tree panting hard worried the chase had haped my unborn kits in some way. After a while, after I had calmed myself down I looked around at my new surroundings. The chase with the dog had taken me far from anywhere I had ever been before. I cautiously lept down from the tree wincing slightly at I steped on my front left paw. Lifting it up I saw a thorn embeded deep into the pad. I must have trod on it somewhere in the chase and had not noticed it due to my panic. I sighed at my bad luck and continued my careful exploration. I limped slighly but I was greatful now for the snow the night before as it numbed it slighly. A wind blew into my face and I froze in my tracks as smelle the sent of at least four cants nearby. I looked around franticly for a place to hide and spotted a clump of thorns nearby with a small gap underneath. I limped over too it and squeezed underneith the thorn cathing in my fur and my swolen stomach making it harder to fit than it would have been before. I managed to fit under completely ripping out clumps of fur in the process. The smell of cats grew stronger untill 4 cats cam into view. One of them was definantly a she-cat with black and white fur. The other three were all toms one was a light grey, the other jet black, and the third was a light ginger tabby. They all continued walking and it seemed they would have walked past me leaving me unnoticed then the black and white she-cat stopped sniffing the air. "I smell a cat" she said. The other three cats stopped as well and smelled the air. "Your right Fallenwing" the jet black tom said. "Another cat has been here. And recently too by the smell of it." I suppresed a cry as I helplessly watched the cats from my poor hiding place. "Look" said the ginger tabby gestuing too the footprints I had left behing in the snow. "Looks like whoever it is is injured as well. Look at how one of the paw prints has a drop of in it.". The other cats examined the tracks and the one called Fallenwing spoke up again. "Looks like the track lead here." I watch helplessly as her paws come closer to me. She calls out with menac in her voice. "Come out unless you want your ears shreded." I reluctantly crawl our from my hiding place. All four cats unsheath their claws at the sight of me. "Please don't hurt me. I say in a small voice" Fallenwing relaxed. "Nightjade, Smokefur, Gingerpelt, relax. Cat you see your scaring this poor queen." She said a with kindness that suprised me. "Whats your name?" She asked gently. "F-Frost" I manage to get out. "We should chase her out" the ginger tom named Gingerpelt hissed. "This loner has no right to be on ThunderClan territory"
