Meet the Author

I am a business consultant and sometimes a writer in Vancouver, B.C. I was born in the Soviet Union and had spent most of my life in Russia before relocating to Canada. Russian is the language I am most comfortable writing in, but for the obvious reason of the market size for now I stick to English. I have been writing little bits for almost as long as I can remember myself."The Colonists" (2012) is the first novella I have completed to a somewhat publishable state."Fifty Below" (2012) is a short novel, a winter action thriller in Siberia, and an obvious attempt in the Die Hard I, II tradition. For a limited time it is available for free as a Christmas gift."Operation Firebird" is the new working title for what I previously referred to as "Good News for Mr. Griffin". I hope to complete it this coming Jan-Feb. It's a Cold War spy story that goes from London to Hong Kong."Barbershop Otto and Other Mysteries" - in progress. The first story is already available to download as a free sample. A few more stories are coming soon, and the collection will be uploaded when I have about 10-12 short stories.Aside from work and writing, I enjoy drawing quick pencil sketches. I don't really enjoy running long distances but that's another thing that I do. Training for my first 42 km.
