It was a pleasure to read this book. As a non hunter, a woman and as a dear friend of Joe's, I enjoyed "Fifty Years of Deer-Stand Reflections". The adventures in the woods, the art of story telling and the knowledge shared with the hunter and future hunters was most interesting. Best of luck with this book and those to come.

    Very Good.

I'm probably biased as the author is my husband. That said, I am an avid, very eclectic reader and I enjoyed reading it. Of the fifty years he covers in his book I shared thirty of them and can attest to his addiction to deer hunting and how it has kept our family, eight children and Joe and I, fed over the years. You will find it a very entertaining, interesting view of what hunting can and should be. Hunting can and should be a family affair and this book will help you in that endeavor.
