Great original account of a Union soldier's life during the Civil War. Morris Brown was involved in most of the fiercest battles along the eastern front. His diaries expertly crafted into a history of the war from 1862 to 1865 by the author makes for excellent reading. No one could offer a more honest testimony than one who fought in it and Brown's realism toward the end of the war is very compelling. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
