    Costs Little, Pays Much

I don't have room to write about the many refunds and compensation I've received, thanks to Phillips and her books. A racing boat trailor, 10 months of telephone servie credit, and over $1500 in medical insurance reimbursement are only a few. My family and I always keep Mrs. Phillips in our prayers as a way of saying 'Thank you.'.

Fight Back and Win: How to Work with Business and Get What You Want

I always have this book in the car in case I need to carry it into a store. On one occasion, I showed the cover to an annoying salesman and told him that Ellen is a personal friend (I really feel that she is). So far, with this book, I've netted a nice refund and a new chaise lounge. Yes, I do feel empowered by Phillips's books!

    The Consumer's Bible

'Fight Back and Win' picks up where the author's first book 'Shocked, Appalled and Dismayed' leaves off. These two books comprise the bible of practical consumer information. This author really knows her stuff and isn't afraid to let big business hear her sweet Southern voice. She also makes it simple for the rest of us to use her research and sample letters by listing consumer protection agancies and consumer oriented websites at the end of each chapter. I used her guide in order to write a complaint letter of my own, and I had a positive response within one week and resolution of my issue within two weeks. This guide works! Thank you, Ellen Phillips, for taking the time to do the research that most of us would lack the tenacity and persistence to accomplish. Thank you, Ellen Phillips, for giving consumers a voice!

Fight Back and Win - How to Work with Business and Get What You Want

Ellen Phillips's book Fight Back and Win is a fantastic resource to have in your home. It truely works!!! I was successful with a complaint thanks to Ms. Phillips's book. It provides you with all the facts and information you will need to get satisfaction from big businesses. I made use of her first book, Shocked, Appalled, and Dismayed, and now with this one it's a sure thing to get results. This is a must to have in your home.

    A Must Read for Consumers!

Fignt Back and Win is an excellent reference for all. Ellen Phillips not only tells what to be before one makes a purchase, sees a physician, looks for a job, hires help, etc., she tells what to do if things go wrong. In addition to being informative, it is a fun read! Thank you Ellen, consumers needed this one!

Fight Back and Win: How to Work with Business and Get What You Want

My husband and I just received a copy of this book as a wedding gift. Even with many and more expensive gifts, we see that this one will do what we want if consumer or patient issues arrive in our new life together. The most important advice we'll soon take from Phillips is in February when we start the home-buying process. Her cautions and suggestions will be invaluable!

Wow - Miss Manners of Consumer Rights did it again!

I love the wonderful style that Ellen Phillips uses in her books - they are just as entertaining as they are useful! From refunds to justified services, her original publication, Shocked Appalled and Dismayed really came through for me! I can only IMAGINE that wonderful things that I will achieve from implementing this smart southern belle's tactful skills in FIGHT BACK AND WIN! Kudos to Ms. Phillips! I really liked the illustrations included in this book - they really enhanced the scenarios being depicted! She has quite a talented family it seems! This is one that will NEVER go out of style and needs a permanent place on the bookshelf.

Fight Back and Win: How to Work with Business and Get What You Want

I didn't think Phillips's new consumer book could be better than her first one. I was wrong. I'm planning on giving FIGHT BACK AND WIN to a number of my corporate *and* consumer friends as Christmas gifts. Thanks, Ellen - once again you've proved that you're the best.

    Outstanding!

Mrs. Phillips writes in a clear, concise and easy-to-understand style. Her research and knowledge of business practices is thorough and in-depth. I appreciate her concern for the average citizen and her ideas will definitely benefit those who utilize her methods in their daily dealings with business. This is a perfect match to Mrs. Phillips' previous book, Shocked, Appalled and Dismayed. I will definitely use this valuable information in my consumer economics classes.

    Great Advice!

Ellen Phillips knows how to get results, and she shows us how in her new book, Fight Back and Win! This book covers how to negotiate with corporate bureaucracies when you¿ve got a problem with a product, but it also goes further. Ellen outlines a winning plan for such everyday activities as buying a house, applying and interviewing for a job, working with service providers, and more. This book is a perfect reference.

Fight Back and Win: How to Work with Business and Get What You Want

My mother is in very poor health and must have much assistance. There's so many issues that I had no idea of what to do or say until I read Phillips' latest book. Now I know that I'm doing the proper care needed by my mother, and what else needs to be done in the future, Phillips shows me how.

Fight Back and Win: How to Work with Business and Get What You Want

I like this book better than her first Shocked, Appalled, and Dismayed. It has more day to day information that the average joe on up needs to solve any problems. A must if you don't like to be trampled on!

    What a book!

As a sales professional, I see both sides of the picture - consumer and businessman. "Fight Back & Win" will help me respond better to my own customers, plus make me a better, more savvy consumer. Thanks, Ellen - as always, you come through for all of us.
