Head Over Wheels was funny, full of steamy sexual tension, romance and even had a little mystery to the plot. I was actually shocked as some of the story was revealed, I did not see some of it coming.....so if your looking for a light fun read this one is for you!

This book is told from Jewelia's point of view and at first my brain was spinning with the way her mind works! You quickly realize that this is just Jewelia....she's crazy and erratic and so REAL! You can't help but fall face first into this story as you get into her mind. Jewelia and Indigo's relationship is powerful and turbulent from the moment they first lock eyes in the coffee shop. Jewelia is so out there for you to see (granted it is told from her POV), and Indigo is locked down so tight. Throughout the story Indigo flashes hot and cold and we can't begin to decipher what is going on in his big brain. We want so badly for him to open up and show us his pain, but he feels he has to keep that part of himself separate from Jewelia. It is such a struggle to the very end..... I absolutely loved this book and I am quite sure I will be reading it again, just before the next one comes out! The next book will be told from Indigo's POV and normally I wouldn't care to read the same story again......but Indigo is so very damaged and I am dying to see his side of this story. I'm so happy that I will essentially get twice the book as there were many scenes I would have loved to get more of! Don't wait! Grab this book NOW!!!!

Fighting for you starts off what seems to be in a dream. It hooks you right there. You have to know more of what is going on. The story is about Jewel, she is a young woman living in Manhattan, and she has just found the person that makes her heart skip a beat.  She is mesmerized by his eyes alone. She doesn't actually mean Indigo until a bike race a few days later. They are both smitten with each other. There is a ton of sexual chemistry that neither of them can ignore. But Indigo has a secret that he can't tell her, not yet at least.  January made me cry, and not just a little bit, but ugly tears, that wouldn't stop flowing down my face. I was getting upset with her because of the amount of tears that were flowing. But she totally redeems herself.  She write with beauty and grace. She lets you know the characters, and what they are feeling. You feel the emotional roller coaster that they both go on.  I will be reading more of January's books. She has made me a fan of her work! You will love her book!

This book was a little slow going initially for me. It was around 40% that it picked up and got interested for me. I liked Jewel, she had a way about her that I found inspiring and admirable. She wants to be a police officer and meets Jimmy at the very beginning of the story, this part I found dull. It didn't intrigue me and I almost put the book down but I am glad that I gave it another go and kept reading as it got WAY better after that. Jimmy was HOT! To say the least, he was her 'training' officer, the sexual tension between these two was enough to thaw out a zero temperature room. I loved that part of it best.  The struggles they went through proved to be entertaining and the supporting characters in this book really helped add a 'wow' factor.  A solid 3.5 read.

It was a great story that really kept you guessing. The sexual tension between Jimmy and Jewel was great and kept you locked in the book until you finished. The way the characters went round and round trying to determine what to do with their lives mimicked real life more than most books, and I really enjoyed that. Overall, a great read that I think everyone will enjoy!
