I loved the storyline of this book. A girl who only knows how to

I loved the storyline of this book. A girl who only knows how to run finally finds a reason to stay. But the motorcycle club life is a rough one and when things start happening, she has to decide if she will ever be the kind of girl who can stick around. I’m a huge fan of MC books, but this one fell a little short in that department for me. As much as we see the members of the MC, we don’t see a lot of action. Usually the guys are just off on “club business” and we’re left in the dark. Personally I enjoy being immersed in the messy MC world and I never quite got that feeling here.

This story’s strength was in its characters and their relationships. Lacey and Jenn’s friendship was one of the highlights of this story. Jenn was such a loyal and supportive friend, even when she didn’t necessarily agree with Lacey’s choices. I enjoyed their hilarious conversations and drunken adventures just as much as I loved their moments of brutal honesty. Their friendship was authentic and added a lot to the emotional atmosphere of the story. Roam’s dirty mouth, gritty personality, and hidden sweetness made me a fan right away. He and Lacey had plenty of chemistry, which means this book was definitely steamy. Both being stubborn, they were bound to clash and I enjoyed watching them argue back and forth. It was like watching a verbal tennis match.

All in all I really enjoyed the characters. I thought they were well written and established, each with a definitive personality. The storyline was interesting and threw me for a loop a couple of times. I love being caught off guard by a book. I would have liked to see a little more of the MC life detailed throughout the story, mostly due to the importance of the ever-present threat of danger. I would love to know more about Jenn and Switch, so I hope there is another book planned at some point. I would certainly read another book by Kasey Millstead in the future.

    Okay

This story had so much drama in 147 pages!! There is so much she could have added to the story! It was rushed and at points didnt seem real! I think it could have been an amazing book the sex was hot and the story line pretty good but everything happed so fast!
