Figs growing in the yard
"Stories of Hard Times of War" - this is what the famous Ukrainian prose writer Ivan Avramov called his very extensive cycle, which included the latest works written in hot pursuit. The cruel trials to which our people have been subjected for the second year now, the current war with its endless victims, countless destructions, the war with its tears, blood and sweat, the unjust, cruel war unleashed against Ukraine by its treacherous northern neighbor, could not help but be reflected in his creativity. People who bravely defend their native land with weapons in their hands have become the main characters of new works. Journalism is quite widely represented in I. Avramov's book, the cross-cutting theme of which is, again, this damned war, in which our people will certainly win, because the truth is on their side. No one invited the "liberators" here, whose hopes for a blitzkrieg had completely failed to materialize; no one was going to lay a carpet under their feet or bring them bread and salt. The book is written in vivid figurative language, modern realities, on which lies the glow of the glow of war, are presented truthfully, visibly, the characters of the characters are outlined in relief, they are snatched from the very thick of life.
