After reading about 25 Rex Stout books, I feel like I know Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin, the complimentary, crime-solving duo in New York City. I feel comfortable in the old brownstone, feel friendly toward Fritz, the cook, and his delicious meals, and love to take a walk to the roof to check out the orchids. The Final Deduction shows Wolfe again at the top of his game in solving a kidnaping/murder case with Archie providing all the details he needs. I can't wait to bolt the door, have a refreshing drink, and read the next Wolfe/Goodwin adventure.
