FINAL STRAW
Dishing out bad news is Jackie Parker’s job. So when her boss grabs her assets one time too many, she serves him her notice and hopes he chokes on it. There must be a better way for a certified process server to make a living in Miami than working for a lousy lecherous lawyer.

Overview

She’s serving up mayhem in the Magic City….

FINAL STRAW
Dishing out bad news is Jackie Parker’s job. So when her boss grabs her assets one time too many, she serves him her notice and hopes he chokes on it. There must be a better way for a certified process server to make a living in Miami than working for a lousy lecherous lawyer. Whatever Jackie decides, her number one priority is to spend time with her husband, Luke, preferably without his brother Logan—AKA the Dark Prince.

FINAL WARNING
Despite Logan’s objections, Luke asks her to join forces in their own property management team, Damaged Goods. Drawing the line between professional and personal lives proves challenging, especially when Logan serves her an ultimatum—tell Luke the truth about what really happened the night they first met, or he will. Sexual harassment is looking better and better.

FINAL NOTICE
Fester Gomez is three months behind on the rent for his pricey South Beach condo and Damaged Goods is on the job. Either they convince the tenant to pay up or he’ll face eviction. The simple task turns deadly when the team discovers Gomez missing and a Jane Doe slowly decomposing in his bathtub. Serving a killer up to justice, wrestling family secrets—it’s just another day on the job for Damaged Goods.

I REALLY enjoyed this book!!! It was fast paced but set up a lot of interesting characters that we will be able to get to know better in future books in this series!! I laughed out loud several times in this book...I mean snorting, tears, hysterical laughter! I can NOT wait for the next in this new series. I found this author when introduced to the "Laundry Hag" books and LOVED her style. This is one you don't want to miss as well as her other books...she (Jennifer L Hart) has a great sense of humor and timing! I'm hooked!

200 pages, stand alone, part of a series. Next book costs $5.99. A cozy mystery which can be enjoyed by everyone. It is funny with a decent whodunit. Whydunit was not as strong. There is quite a bit of humor. Some mild violence and a few sexual insinuations. There a few mild curse words. The main couple in this book are married and have a wacked out cast of family members. The husbands parents are renewing their wedding vows for the 40th time, complete with parties, showers and dinners. Some of the situations, Jackie, the heroine finds herself in, were so gross, I actually gagged. But they were still funny. This book could really use a good editor. Some of the slip ups were halarious, for example the woman who birthed a yacht, instead of berthing it. My, my, that would have been so painful. Lol. I think ages 16 and 17 could handle this one. I have seen a lot worse on family television. AD

Sorry, but someone who finds cooking a dog funny as a comment in the story I'm not interested in reading it anymore.

What a funny, original story! I really enjoyed it. The mystery was secondary to the drama between the main character, her husband and her brother in law. The circumstances were very unique and hilarious. I would love to read more by this author.
