More About This Book

Overview

Now includes THE LOST CHAPTERS, four previously unpublished chapters with author commentary and editor notes!

Still staggering under Paragor's relentless attacks, Alleble's remaining allies flee from the four corners of The Realm to safety within the Kingdom's walls. But there is little time for Alleble to mourn before Paragor, the Wyrm Lord, and the deadly Seven Sleepers unite against the followers of King Eliam. As Alleble begins to lose hope, Paragor unleashes The Final Storm. Will anyone survive to see the dawn?

What to expect in The Final Storm, Lost Chapters Edition:

  • Extended Chapter: Original Chapter 20, for the first time, readers will learn how Paragal gathered a secret army to overwhelm The Elder Guard on the night of The Betrayal.

  • Extended Chapter: Original Chapter 21, readers will remember Kaliam and Merewen's marriage, but never were able to see Kaliam's romantic (if clumsy) proposal. Learn one of Kaliam's most guarded secrets.

  • Extended Chapter: Original Chapter 31, where readers will experience the full wedding ceremony and celebration as Kaliam and Merewen marry, even as the final storm approaches.

  • ALL NEW MATERIAL: Ever wonder what your favorite characters were up to while Aidan, Antoinette, and Robby were not in The Realm? In this double-length chapter, readers will go on an adventure to the chilling world of Frostland. Something has been hunting in the forests there, and it's up to Nock and Mallik to do something about it.

(Spoiler Alert for those who have not read books 1 and 2)

Things are looking grim for the land of Alleble. Paragor, the Betrayer, has unleashed ancient monsters to help him take over the Realm. The Wyrm Lord, the greatest of all Dragons, and the Seven Sleepers, the greatest of all Wolves, have been unleashed. Antoinette Reed is locked in a tower in Paragor's stronghold, forced to watch all these horrors be unleashed upon the land.

Meanwhile on earth Aiden Thomas's best friend Robby has fallen into the service of Paragor himself. Time is running out for Aiden to save him, but with Robby's father around, can he?

This is an amazing conclusion to one of the best fantasy series you will ever read. I would highly recommend this book to anyone over 9 who loves action, adventure, and a great tale of Good vs Evil!!

My hat is off to you, Mr Batson, for creating such a wonderful tale!!!

    I Also Recommend:

    Best Book in the Series!!!

I've just finished "The Final Storm" and I must say this is the best book in the "Door Within Trilogy!" When I read the first book "The Door Within", something about the book made me want to read more and more, so I finished it and loved it to the end. Then I read the second book, "The Rise of the Wyrm Lord" and found that that was just as good or even better than the first (I loved the ending). And now, I've just finished "The Final Storm", and this was amazing!!! Wayne Thomas Batson did a GREAT job on building up the suspense from the very first chapter in "The Door Within" (which is the dream Aidan has in Chapter one.) So if your looking for great book to read you should try "The Door Within Trilogy", also I highly encourage you to read "Isle of Swords" and "Isle of Fire", those are also by the fabulous Wayne Thomas Batson.
    GREAT Job Wayne!

The Final Storm: Last in the trilogy

In this final book in this series by Whayne Thomas Batson, Aidan is trying to get his friend Robby to believe in the Realm. The trouble is, he already does, but he's serving Paragor! Aidan tries to talk to him, but his dad is also working for Paragor and won't let Aidan near Robby. Meanwhile in the Realm, Antoinette is trying to talk to Kearn, Robbys glimpse twin. Kearn is being equally uncooperative, and Antoinette is next in line to be fed to the Wyrm Lord! Will Antoinette die? Will Robby believe? The only way to find out is to read the book.

    Epic Fantasy Ending!

Aiden pursues Robby on Earth while Antoinette pursues his Glimpse in Alleble, and they finally convert him, sending Robby to Alleble and his Glimpse to Earth. In Alleble, Robby is tempted by Paragor himself, but chooses to stand with King Eliam. As he trains, Alleble prepares for the final battle with Paragor, and finds that ultimately, they can only trust King Eliam.
Wayne Thomas Batson takes the cake in youth fantasy. I only have two adult fantasy series that rival this. The third book was an amazing, edge-of-your-seat conclusion to his Door Within Trilogy. I was very sad to leave the characters; then I read the series again, and again..

As the Storm Approaches, Will the Three Witnesses be Found?

With Antoinette still in the Realm, Aiden is worried. She had already been there longer than he had. Aiden and his father, who now believes, go to Maryland, where Robby, Aiden's best friend lives. But Robby's father is back, and is teaching Robby that Paragor's way is right. Aiden must help Robby as best he can to believe in Ellos. When Aiden is sent home by Robby's dad, Aiden and Robby meet at their old clubhouse in the woods. There, Aiden tells Robby as best he can about Ellos and Alleble. But just as Robby's father discovers them, Aiden gets pulled into the Thread, back to Alleble. Robby must figure the rest out on his own as Aiden starts a new adventure in the Realm. This book is a page turner, and will keep you reading as long as possible.

    Loved it!

The Final Storm was a great conclusion to the trilogy. It really does tie in what will happen after the tribulation and how the One true lord will overcome and how his words are true.

    Climatic Finale

Picking up right where its prequel, The Rise of the Wyrm Lord, left off, The Final Storm plunges headfirst into hair-raising action.
Ancient prophecy collides with lies as treachery and deceit poison minds and grapple with faith.
Battle looms on the horizon - a dreadful and final war. Paragor amasses his forces, including the Wyrm Lord and the Seven Sleepers, and undercover of the mysterious Black Breath, they march on Alleble.
Old and new friends unite to clash against Paragor and the Wyrm Lord, but the fate of all hinges upon the Three Witnesses of ancient prophecy.
In a stunning, climatic finale to a wonderful trilogy, Mr. Batson outdoes himself. My only complaint is that it all went by too quickly. One part that I especially like is the names and meanings of the Seven Swords.
Intense action alleviated throughout with humor, bound with through-provoking allegory, and filled with memorable characters - The Final Storm is an amazing book that you will never regret reading.
