All Music Guide - Rodney Batdorf
After spending most of her life singing with her siblings in the Clark Sisters, Karen Clark-Sheard released her debut solo album, Finally Karen, in 1997. Listeners already knew from the Clark Sisters that Karen possessed a wonderful, powerful voice, but Finally Karen confirms the depth and range of her talent. From the outset, it's clear that she has decided to broaden her appeal by bringing in urban R&B influences. Clark-Sheard works with producer/songwriter Donald Lawrence, Stanley Brown, James Moss, the Tri-City Singers, and Faith Evans, and the result is a joyous, inspirational album, largely recorded live at Detroit's Bailey Cathedral. Go Karen

Karen is my favorite singer with hit smash ''Couldnt Tell it if I Tried'' The R& hit smash of ''Jesus Is A Love Song'' and the hit ''There Is A Balm In Gilead'' are good. She always will be the best. Check out here new cd 2nd Chance. Don't forget the smash hit ''Gotta Right''

    Just Being Real For Jesus

I have throughly enjoyed the whole album. But to be specific in the songs I especially have enjoyed 'Praise Festival & The Will of God' for starters including that both songs details Praises and God being the only way gives the clear word to the point.

    Karen is totally awesome!

I bought the CD when it first came out. I played to so much that I've had to replace it. I've always admired the Clark Sisters as well. I grew up listening to the Clark Sister and Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. God has really blessed Karen with so much talent.
