Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"A refreshing, ingenious hardcover debut." —Kirkus

"Suspenseful and entrancing."—Library Journal

"Finder is a delightful bit of alchemistry that deftly blends the detective and fantasy genres. The characters get under your skin, and a world in which the young and disaffected are willing to risk death in a mad bid for redemption is oddly familiar. Bull's delicate touch allows her to exploit the crossover genre with particular success."—School Library Journal

"An effortless read.Everything, from scenes of suspense to scenes of high emotion, is deftly done."—The Washington Post

"[A] delightful fantasy." —Denver Post

Cathy Chauvette
The characters get under your skin, and a world in which the young and disaffected are willing to risk death in a mad bid for redemption is oddly familiar in spite of the setting. Bull's delicate touch allows her to exploit the genre crossover with particular success—as in the best of both genres, the tragedy seeps through the thrills, humor, and relationships so slowly that one finds the tears on one's cheek with a shock.

    Best book EVER

This is the greatest book I've ever read. I really enjoyed reading this, and was on the edge of my seat the whole time! The characters were easy to connect with and very realistic. I'm glad to see some elves that aren't all about fluff and magic.

Finally! A book with good writing and illustration!

I wish I could give it more than 5 stars, but I guess I'll make due with what I have. This has to be the best book I've ever read. It has an wide variety of amazing characters you'll love before you're even halfway through the book, and sudden exciting plot twists. But it's not all one long slueth story either. It's got comedy, action, and romance. All in all, I'd give it a 6 out of 5 stars! The front cover is amazing, too!

    Fantastic Urban Fantasy

Underneath it's urban fantasy trappings, Finder is a hard-boiled detective story with characters so real, you'll miss them long after you've read the last page. Prepare for the long-haul when you sit down to read this one - you won't get up until it's over. And bring and open mind and a box of tissues, it will make you think and break your heart.
