    Interesting Read

    This book reminds me of a collection of short stories because it has different sections and starts from chapter one in every section. it is a new story in itself. The first starts with Sundaran and the Knight and the Sundaran finds his happiness, but the Knight continues on into the next section with his own story. It is an interesting read and thought it was very good.
    Ruul/Devin are creepy. I get that Devin is a Seer for Ruul, but a woman would like to have time with her husband alone. Despite what Devin says about being amazing in the bedroom when they are one,I do not agree with both being in bed. When Gabria became married, she told Ruul that she just wanted Devin in the room. She should have stuck with it or at least give them her permission to have Devin or both in the bedroom. It seems scary when one is wakened by a body that looks like her husband, but it is not him in spirit. Devin has enough on his plate when Ruul intervenes with prophecies out of nowhere. Devin and Gabria cannot be a normal couple or take a break from ruling and kick back a beer. Ruul hears/sees all, but the person inhabited by him needs some kind of freedom, not just a few hours during the morning/night/occupied elsewhere. To me, Devin is like a father who works all the time and never is around for his wife/children. Do not talk or spend time together. I hope it will change because Ruul seems to respect love/romance and picks the wives of his Seers. He seems to have rules himself and maybe with Gabria some will change. He is like a friend. As for the sons being inhabited by him, what about the daughters? Maybe a daughter will be a vessel some time around. Things happen...
