Overview

Here’s a tip: never trust a jackass in preppy clothing.

The phrase “trust me” should have been my first clue to hightail it out the door, but hindsight is always 20/20.
So there I was, on a stage with two other men, being asked ridiculous questions by a woman I couldn’t see, but whose voice made my pants tighten—and not around my ankles.

Before I knew what was happening, I'd signed up for six weeks in paradise, isolated on an island for forty-two days with a complete stranger. And when I finally laid eyes on the sexy brunette who belonged to that voice, a part of me thought this wouldn’t be so bad.

I’ve always been a levelheaded guy. I am a successful, smart, and shrewd business man. But that was when I was listening to the head above my shoulders. Once the blood traveled south, I always ran into trouble.

She called me Mr. Wrong, and that was fine with me.

Lesson learned: lust always trumps logic.

The dynamic duo of AM Madden and Joanne Schwehm have produced one insanely wonderful book. A romance that will have you laughing and swooning and sighing like nobody's business. Yeah, it's that good! What starts as a chance to earn some money she desperately needs in order to help her family, Brae Daniels finds herself on a tropical island for the next 6 weeks with the very sexy, very cocky Jude Soren and her life is never the same again. These two play a game of cat and mouse like seasoned pros and it's anyone's guess as to whether they will survive this social experiment or not. OMG what an absolutely joyful ride this was. Both Brae and Jude hold their own with witty comebacks and smart as hell comments. Their hesitation to make this any more than it needs to be only fuels the heat between them. Their chemistry is wildly hot and between fanning myself and feeling as frustrated as they both did, it's a wonder any of us survived! In addition, the authors masterfully weave a slew of tender moments amidst all the mayhem. The humor is infectious and proves both Madden and Schwehm are at the top of their game with this book. I fell hard and fast for both Jude and Brae and couldn't wait to see how it would all turn out. Together with their best friends, this is one adventure I honestly could not put down. The characters are well written and extremely likable. It has all the feels you crave and is quite simply the very best kind of feel good love story. Very highly recommended and one I could read over and over again. This one is a keeper for sure. Finding Mr. Wrong never felt so right! A huge 5+ stars!

First off I love the combine writing from these two authors. What would you do if you were desperate for money, would you go on a show with a perfect stranger and be alone for 6 week's? Well this is what happens to Brae when she picks Jude. Two people so different but couldn't be more right for each other. This story is funny, serious and a romantic story all in one. I was totally sucked in. You are going to LOVE Jude. I love both these two authors writing an with them combining their talents made

Full Disclosure: I have enjoyed all of Joanne Schwehm & Ann Marie Madden's books individually and was was NOT disappointed with their first collaboration. It is written in such a seamless way, I would not have realized it was written by two authors if I didn't know. Honestly, I'm not sure who wrote what which - in my experience - is unusual in co-written books. Ok, on to the review: Jude Soren (swoon) gets roped into something he has no intention of participating in. Brae Daniels is participating for the cash prize at the end. He is being Mr Wrong which is exactly who she was looking for. Everything about this book was so right!!! Jude and Brae both have great friends (who I look forward to reading more about in future collaborations), they both have a maturity and an appreciation for their family. He is oh so smoking hot... One of the things I appreciated was that the cover photo matched so perfectly how I picture Jude to be. Don't you hate when you read a story and the cover doesn't match the description? I would add both Jude AND Brae to my laminated card ;) This story flowed perfectly for me. I wasn't paying attention to the percentage read and was sad that I was getting close to the end, I did a happy dance when I realized there was more. The authors could have taken the easy road and ended before they did. I appreciated this story for it's "fullness" It didn't feel like the book that was just slapped together over a long weekend of pj's and wine. Nice job ladies!!!

If I didn't know ahead of time that this book was written by two authors, I wouldn't have figured out by reading! SEAMLESS WRITING!! A.M. Madden and Joanne Schwehm did a phenomenal job blending their writing styles to bring readers a fun, SEXY story! This was a much anticipated read for me, and I was not disappointed! Romance with a bit of everything is everything RIGHT about Finding Mr. Wrong! Love a story that can mix sexual tension, sexy times, romance, and a dash of humor sprinkled throughout. All of those elements, combined with well developed characters I could really connect with, made me a VERY HAPPY ROMANCE READER! Can't recommend this one enough... Go and ONE-CLICK this book people! Hoping to see more books co-authored from these two talented ladies! One of my top reads for 2017 so far =)

If Jude Soren is Mr. Wrong, why in the world would any woman want to find Mr. Right? This book was simply amazing from the very first page to the very last one, which by the way I did not want it to end. Not only is Jude Soren handsome, hot, sexy, tattooed, funny, wealthy, and dirty mouthed but he is also Swedish. He will have you swooning over him in no time. Brae "Sparky" Daniels is beautiful, sexy, funny, sassy, unemployed, and suffers from a huge case of OCD. Put these two together and the sparks will fly, and not always in a sexual way, I guarantee the banter between them will have you laughing out loud. This book has just the right amount of humor, angst, romance, and steam. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, and at times I even wanted to strangle both Jude and Brae. But Jude being Jude won't allow you to stay mad with him for long. Their friends are a hoot, and I cannot wait to read their stories. AM and Joanne did a fantastic job with this book, the story line, the characters, the writing, everything added up to perfection. I highly recommend this book and give it five purring stars!!

A.M. Madden is and always has been one of my favorite authors. I will probably read the phonebook if she writes it. So it shouldn't come as a surprise to you and I got my hands on Finding Mr Wrong the first chance I got. And oohhh, how much fun that was. And let's not forget the bonus of having Joanne Schwehm as co-author. So of course the end result is simply amazing. The story is fun, romantic, tender, very, very HOT and just a little bit heartbreaking. Jude and Brae are two incredible characters and I can guarantee that you will fall in love with them from the very start. Where Brae is a little bit of OCD, Jude is carefree. In many ways they are polar opposites but as they say opposites attract. And that can be clearly seen in the chemistry between them. They are simply scorching HOT together :D Jude and Brae's story is not an easy one but it is definitely worth reading :) And if all that is not enough for you, let me tell you this. YOU NEED TO MEET JUDE!!! He is is the ultimate bad boy. Dominant, alpha and extremely hot, he changes women like he changes underwear. He is definitely not into commitment but the moment hie eyes land on Brae, things change. In her, he finds his other half :) So, yes. You definitely want to get your hands on this amazing read. I can guarantee that you won't regret it. So get your #1click finger working and get your copy now :) This review was originally posted at Living In Our Own Story Book Blog. I received an ARC of the book in exchange of an honest review. (less)

See how Mr. Wrong can be oh so right!! If you are looking for a Rom-Com, this is it!! This book had me laughing out loud on several occasions, to the point that I embarrassed myself at the park! Very funny and unique. These two ladies have some secret trick, because I have not read many collaborations where the Authors are able to write as one. This book is so refreshing, yet steamy, where the reader will need refreshments! ;) I am looking forward to seeing what else Ms. Madden and Ms. Schwehm come up with next!

A.M. Madden and Joanne Schwehm prove to be an inimitable writing duo with their first co-authored novel, Finding Mr. Wrong. Sexy, fun and full of feels, Jude and Brea’s story is romantic comedy gold and the kind of book that leaves you grinning and begging for more. From the first page to the last I was hooked on the colorful personalities and fresh, humorous writing that filled the pages. Jude and Brea’s seemingly opposite personalities led to a seriously addictive push and pull that manifested itself in plenty of delicious sexual tension and hilariously witty banter. This couple shared a sizzling chemistry that begged to be explored along with something deeper and unspoken that kept me undeniably hooked on their unique journey. Madden and Schwehm expertly balanced all of the humor and steam with plenty of heart and a few gut-wrenching moments that ensured my total investment in Jude and Brae’s story. Jude was pretty much book boyfriend perfection. Even when he was being cocky, arrogant and purposely frustrating he was somehow still funny, smart and downright dreamy. I enjoyed watching him unravel as he spent time with Brae and loved experiencing his relationships with his best friends. Madden and Schwehm certainly knew what they were doing when it came to the sexy Swede. Brae was equally unforgettable and I had so much fun getting to know the feisty, slightly awkward and adorably quirky heroine. Her strange habits made me chuckle while her selflessness and dedication to helping her family warmed my heart. Effortlessly stealing my heart, Brae and Jude made for an unlikely and yet perfectly compatible pair. They challenged one another, supported each other and together they not only revealed the truth depth of the other’s character but grew into better versions of themselves. Madden and Schwehm also had me falling in love with each of the secondary characters that rounded out Jude and Brae’s world. They added levity and love to the novel and left me anxious to read their stories. Finding Mr. Wrong was perfectly paced to be devoured. I found myself flying through this book, desperate for more of Madden and Schwehm’s enchanting storytelling. I absolutely adored the premise - a random couple thrown together for six romantic weeks on an island and you just know there’s going to be plenty of tension and drama. Madden and Schwehm didn’t disappoint, delivering plenty of heat, a few hilarious antics and some seriously adorable heartfelt moments that left me absolutely swooning. Despite this being their first novel together, the authors worked seamlessly. Finding Mr. Wrong flowed smoothly, the voices of the characters distinct but consistent and the writing style utterly captivating. Finding Mr. Wrong is definitely a win for Madden and Schwehm and an absolute must read for romantic comedy fans!

I have enjoyed all of Ms. Madden's and Ms. Schwehm's books, so I was intrigued when they announced they were writing a book together. I was NOT disappointed---"Finding Mr. Wrong" was a wonderfully adventurous read!! Ever wonder what it would be like to be stranded on a tropical island with a complete stranger? Somehow these ladies took that idea and ran away with it, taking my heart along for the ride!! It was so interesting watching as Brad & Jude got to know each other, after being tossed together with just a few "dating game" questions and answers. Both of them went into the arrangement not knowing much about each other or themselves; but came out of it with a new understanding of life, love, and what they wanted to make of both them. It certainly didn't hurt that Brae is someone you'd want in your close circle of friends; while Jude is just a steaming Speedo full of hotness--the "bad boy" every girl thinks she'll be the one to reform! This one is definitely NOT a "To Be Read", it's a "Must Read Now"!!!

"Keep your eye on the prize." After having read books by both authors, I was very excited to get a taste of their collaboration, and I was not disappointed. I honestly can't tell who wrote what, it was very seamless and smooth. I couldn't stop smiling as I read and I even snorted and giggled out loud quite a few times. I'm sure that if I had been in public I'd have embarrassed myself. Mr. Wrong is right up there as one of my top reads. I fell so hard for Jude. He is just perfect in every way. Even his assholish behavior is perfect. It's gonna be real hard for another author to come along and knock him off the pedestal I have him on. I'm very smitten with that sexy Swede. Jude is the last person you would ever expect to end up in the situation he found himself in. He's a very savvy businessman and not much gets past him. Unfortunately, his two best friends, his college buddies that have been involved in his every bad decision, know just how to push his buttons. As they keep trying to one-up each other, their pranks are escalating to a whole new level. While even I was surprised at the lengths they would go to for a laugh, I found myself laughing with them. Their manly banter is hilarious and their close bond is obvious. I can see how their friendship survives in spite of them testing the boundaries as they push each other. At the same time, nothing would keep them from having each other's back. I don't know if Mr. Wrong will evolve into a series or not, but I sure would love to see more of Jude's best friends, they are awesome support characters and would make incredible main characters if given the chance. Brae is a fun character in spite of her OCD tendencies and her seriousness. Those traits don't keep her from being able to laugh at herself, or to share a joke with her besties. If it wasn't for her financial obligations that are weighing on her mind, she would be a lot more carefree. But life has taken her down a road she never intended to travel and she's having to make choices that are ouside of her normal tendencies. Her friends are shocked when she shares with them what her last resort plan entails. While they support her decision, they are concerned for her. Well some are concerned, while at least one carefree cohort throws out suggestive comments that I found myself supporting, as I snickered in agreement. Brae has decided that she must do what she has to do for survival, regardless of the outcome. She'll be strategic and choose wisely, purposely selecting a Mr. Wrong, knowing that it will go nowhere. She's decided there's no such thing as a Mr. Right and she might as well save herself the trouble of trying to find one. It's a good plan, use her head instead of her harmones. Sounds good, right? But she'll soon find out, "Lust trumps logic."
