Editorial Reviews

Atallah Mansour
Liza Elliott's description of her work with the Red Crescent Society first in Beirut during the civil war and later in Jerusalem, Ramallah and Cairo paints an authentic picture of the suffering Palestinians have endured these past decades. Her story helps explain the roots of the conflict that has spread far beyond the confines of the Holy Land.
Jerry Levin
"Finding Palestine" provides a significant map for those willing to take the road less traveled to truth and comprehension with respect to Palestine. Her sentences are simple and short yet they are bursting with passion, eloquence and fact--something only a true insider is in a position to convey. Essentially, however, this is a book about decent, courageous people struggling for recognition and justice.
Robert B. Ashmore
An engaging work. It combines personal witness with an abundance of information about the history and current status of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Liza Elliott writes lucidly and insightfully. The reader will be moved by the significance of her story and by the feeling with which she tells it. Elliott's is an unique contribution to the literature on an enduring conflict.
