    Finding the Lost

    Andra Madison was the finder of lost children. Well, not really lost, but those that had been abducted from thier loving families and taken by the monsters. She didn't know what they were actually called, just that the children had to be saved or they would die a very painful death. She couldn't let that happen and wouldn't, if she had anything to do with it. Tonight's mission had brought her to the old abandoned warehouse. A small boy, Sammy, had been taken by the monsters and she knew it. She had tracked them here and could hear the deep sobs of fear that Sammy made from inside the building. How was she going to get him out and stay alive when there are two of them in there. Two hairy wolflike, no not wolves, just terrible, hidious monsters.


    Tonight Paul was on the trail of a Theronai female. He, Logan and Madoc were following the scent of her bloodline, hoping that tonight's road trip wouldn't be another bust. Logan said that they were getting very close. just then, there in the light of the SUV she stood at the entrance of the abandoned warehouse. He could see her poised to kick in the door, then splinters flew and she began to charge into the building and he saw that she was also not alone. Two demons began their appproach to attackher head-on, she didn't flinch and she had no hesitation. What a strong woman this was, he must help her, protect her and most importantly; find out if this woman was a Theronai female, his female.

    I'm very excited to find this new series and add tit to my collection of favorites. Shannon K. Butcher has a easy going style to her writing. Her words float from the page and dance in your mind, taking you on this amazing journey. You will be entraced and enthraled in the ultimate battle of good and evil.

    he second Sentinel War urban fantasy is a terrific grim thriller with a romantic subplot

    Eight years ago, the Synestryn insectoid monsters destroyed her family when she was a child. Andra Madison vowed to hunt down these six foot insectoid nightmares and kill every one of them. As she has matured, Andra modified her goal in honor of her sister Nika, whose mind went when the deadly intrusion occurred; instead of just killing she obsessively needs to rescue abducted children snatched by the insidious Synestryn.

    After centuries on the frontlines, Sentinel Theronai Paul fears he is losing his soul as time is running out for him to find his lifemate. He makes a deal with Logan the Bloodhunter; in return for some of his Sentinel blood, the hunter helps him find his woman. In Omaha they roughly save Andra during her rescue of young Sammy. Paul knows she is his female Theronai, but she rejects his advances as her only thought is for the dying fearful Nika even as the Synestryn who murdered her family is coming for her.

    The second Sentinel War urban fantasy (see Burning Alive) is a terrific grim thriller with the romantic subplot playing a strong supporting role. The cast is powerful as the audience will feel every emotion that Andra feels from fear for her sister to fear for her falling in love. FINDING THE LOST is a dark tale as Shannon K. Butcher paints a forbidding gloomy landscape in which an ancient war between humanity's guardians and their nasty adversaries heats up in Nebraska.

    With a kick butt heroine and a rough and wild warrior things are bound to get crazy. I really enjoyed this book because it was very fast paced and left no time for it to get mundane at all. The romantic scenes were sweet and only added to the story line instead of completely dominating it. The back story was added to as well in this installment of the "Sentinel Wars". Very interesting facts were learned about a certain character in particular. Secondary characters were given enough time in the spotlight without completely taking away from the main pair. All of the action scenes were exciting without having to add any unnecessary swearing just to prove how tough the hero was. In fact even the action scenes were unneeded because it was very obvious how tough he was, but he also had a softer side which only served to endear me to him even more. Great read!

    Great series

    Completly fell in love with this series. I cant wait for the next book to come out. Great storyline and strong characters built; it will hold you captive from beginning to end. Highly recommend this to all!
