Meet the Author
Nancy Gold is a multifaceted performing artist, director, teacher and writer. Her passion is expressed in mime, mask, movement, clowning, juggling, acting, writing, and improvisation. She has studied physical theater in Paris with Jacques LeCoq, mime with Claude Kipnis, and clowning with Ctibor Turba. She holds a BFA from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and a master's equivalency degree. Ms. Gold teaches at the ACT Young Conservatory and Berkeley Rep School of Theatre. Her performing arts program BodyTalk has been supported by numerous foundations and featured in the national media. Ms. Gold teaches at schools and universities throughout the country. She lives in San Francisco and performs internationally with her partner and husband Lol Levy.
