Overview

Is it wrong to be ambitious? To want to succeed? To strive for earthly significance?

With warmth, humor and candor, beloved author R. T. Kendall explores the life-changing concept that ambition might actually be a gift.

On this journey of self-discovery, you'll learn that ambition is not always something you have to overcome in order to serve God. Rather, it can be one of the primary ways God invites us to be part of His story.

Discover honor and significance as God designed them to be, and experience praise that He alone can give.

"Finally, a book about ambition based on godly principles. R. T. Kendall does it again with his insight into what should motivate us to 'win the gold.'" —Joni Lamb, co-founder and vice president, Daystar Television Network

"Here is R. T. Kendall in good form: fresh, original, wandering into all the ins and outs of his subject, sometimes provocative, always thought-provoking, sometimes amusing, but always with holiness. Teaching at its best." —Dr. Michael Eaton, Chrisco Fellowship of Churches; co-pastor, Chrisco Central Church, Nairobi, Kenya

"Motivated by a desire for readers to really know and feel the approval and joy that can only come from God, Finding Your Heart's Desire is also an effort to create an awareness of our heart aspirations. Kendall draws from his vast experiences, biblical truths, and the wisdom of so many before him to pen this book. It focuses on causing readers to really think through their core ambitions and motives, with a desire of leading them to understand others better, and to understand their position before God.
This is truly a unique book with a distinct perspective to offer on the subject of God-centered ambition and motivation." —CBA Retailers+Resources
