    An excellent source of comfort

Maybe it's because she and her husband experienced loss, you don't get the feeling of being 'teated' by someone on the outside; there is a warmth and an empathy in these pages that helps ease the pressure of trying to 'get over' one of the most devastating events in a person's life. This book is an excellent source of comfort and practical suggestions to help grieve after losing a child. Everything from what to do when you are faced with your child's favorite restaurant, to seeing the school bus go by, how to handle the holidays (52 situations in all) to relating stories to help one's own life...the reflections offered in each chapter are poignant and real and are specially designed to help heal.
