Fingering is a story targeted for adults, and uses language, and describes scenes that follow suit. Even though it's only 11 pages, I felt it a was a waste of time.
The concept of the story is original, but isn't told in an exciting or entertaining way. The story left a lot to be desired, and I sometimes found it hard to continue through the whole thing, but since it was so short I was determined to see it through to the end. I almost wish I hadn't. The ending felt abrupt and left questions that didn't need to be left.
I can recommend this book only to those who are curious, but be prepared for a let down overall.

Sometimes one spouse doesn't really know the other as well at they think. What motivates one spouse to stay in a marriage? You'd be surprised. A fast, short but good read.

This was one of the oddest things I've ever read. The story barely made sense and her obsession with his finger was borderline sick fetish porn. I would NOT read this a second time nor recommend it to anyone else except for the purpose of a cause for lack of sleep. I'm not sure what the author's intent was with this short story and quite frankly, I'm not sure I care to know at this point. I'm SO glad this download was FREE.

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.First let me take the tension off and let you know this wasn't just a cover page e-book, it also wasn't a full novel, but was a short story. Now with that said, if there was a Cannes film festival for storys written, this story would be there. Very offbeat, not the usual and certainly not expected. I have to say I really liked the story and will probably never forget it! That says a lot right there. Keep an open mind and have a fun little twist and enjoy, it is enjoyable.

I've read much better stories on Literotica.com. Weak plot, weak development, weak characters. The best things about the story were the title and the anticipation of a good read.

No,honestly, I don't get it. It was the oddest story about a woman's fascination with her love's finger. It was almost like she was mental, well I guess in the end she was. I gave up reading around page 3 and just skipped to the end since the reviews said it ended weird, which it did. It just didn't make sense. I would not recommend this to anyone and I will not be giving it another try. It was just not your mainstream writing, even for something a little erotic. Reader beware.

This short story deals with adult topics and uses adult language. My biggest complaint is that I feel it had no resolution. I felt the story just stopped suddenly.

I enjoy a varied assortment of erotica & play & must state that this review is not based on a desire for fluffy, romantic, missionary sex 'erotica'. BDSM, anal play, multiple partners, same sex partners, etc all have a place but in no way is hating everything about your husband, save one finger & cutting off said finger erotic, sexy, hot, interesting or worth a free download. Know what you're getting. Shouldn't even be in the erotica section...maybe a section for mutilations?

Which I hope is what the author intended. The story would make for an interesting ice breaker at a function of some sort.

I started this novel on Saturday March 10 2012. Joel was a play writer was stumbling for language. Vivian was his wife. Joel seems not to find the words that he wants to use. He had written a play called Grass Grows is had a heart and it won an Tony. Joel couldn't understand producers. He was writting the second play called How High The Moon. Vivian was an actress. They were using a finger and was doing the figure 8's. The finger was Joel's numbled finger. It was her fetish. He couldn't use the finger for sex. But one day his wife talked him into it. This was a weird short story. ShelleyMA

This is one of the best pieces of writing I have encountered in a long time. The sentances and writer's voice are beautiful. The story is quirky. The complexity of human fixation about a finger. So cute.

Overview
Vivian could live without most of her famous playwright husband, Joel. However, she can't live without his finger. Find out why Vivian's so crazy about Joel's masterful appendage in this quirky, often hilarious short story from Andrew Berg
