This was an exceptional read. I highly recommend this series to parents with children (boys) struggling to sit down to a good book.

WOW - It kept getting better!

First: more action and just as funny as the first. Second: new characters - the friends and bullies remind me of people I know - and don't like in the case of the bullies. So it was good to see some of them get what they deserve. Overall, the second Finger Tip Island is better then the first and sets up a third book PERFECTLY.

    Better than the first!

Just picked up the sequel and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. The story continues the same significant messages as the first, but then adds important issues like bullying and forgiveness. Very valuable for our family. So happy to see this series going on with a third book on the way. Can't wait to see what's next!

Wonderful children's chapterbook series that my son very much enjoyed reading-on his own, too. The unique traits of each villain made for an exciting outcome for each confrontation. Protagonist and imagery were also strengths. Won't ruin any more for you. -JA

Dear World, this is the second book in the FingerTip Island series. I (as a proxy for my children) enjoyed it quite much. Like the comments below mine, the characters - both naughty and nice - appeared to slide right into my sons' lives, taking the role of people they already know. We like when stories do this. The message behind each book in the series is also encouraging: forgiving bullies is the only type of confrontation recommended by education experts. The adventure tale roped my sons into reading, always tricky, and there are a few moments that even made me laugh out loud (you do catch more fish with flies...).

So, World, I will make this review short and sweet: give it a read. It was a great purchase for our family, and we think you'll agree.
