Time shifts in ever changing motion. But can love survive the ravages of time?

Set against the backdrop of Ancient China, Fiona finds herself transported to a time of barbarian warriors and marauding nomads from the northern steppes. She discovers a new way of life in the arms of the handsome warrior Kellach, a man of noble stature among the Celtic settlements ringing the great Taklamakan. Desperate to return to the present while struggling against her mounting feelings, she finally accepts her fate, exulting in the rapture and delights to be found as Kellach’s mate.

I love time travel and the unexpected and 'Fiona' combines both those elements. It will be a long while before I forget this book.

I just read this book and all I can say is "WOW".  This book made me smile and it made me cry.  No better recommendation in my book.  I am a reader in fact reading is all I do for entertainment, no TV and no radio only reading so if I say a book is awesome you can take it to the bank.

Great time travel read but didn't like the ending

Few books I get where I find time during the day to continue reading. This book captured my attention and I couldn't put it down. Fiona travels back in time to an ancient clan. I pictured an old Indian-type tribe with the descriptions. I didn't like the ending and without giving it away, I had hoped the ending was flipped. I still give it 5 stars though since it was only the ending I didn't like for my own taste.

    Good

When Fiona went back in time, I was getting aggravated on how long the story stayed on the daily activities of the clan, but the ending was fantastic! Highly recommend!
