Part one of The Firefighter Trilogy is free.

Annie is an award-winning photojournalist, recently returned from a war zone. And she’s bored. After making a bad decision to spite her best friend, she needs to get away and lose herself in another adventure.

Lieutenant Billy ‘Blaze’ Conlon is a firefighter harbouring a deep, dark secret. An adrenaline junkie with a hero complex, he’s a lothario when it comes to women, and his job is becoming more complicated by an arsonist on the loose in New York.

When the two of them are thrust together for the first time, sparks fly, things get hot, and everything becomes explosive.

I like how the both characters are flawed unlike almost every other story in this genre. It the story so many interesting ways to go unlike the boring typical bad boy/girl luring the good one into something. This could be the beginning of something really good.
