Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

Praise for THE CHRONICLES OF AVANTIA #1: FIRST HERO

"Readers will be clamoring for the next volumes in this gripping, easy-to-read, high-interest series, which is a terrific introduction to the genre." -Kirkus Reviews

Children's Literature - Lisette Baez
This unique fantasy will catch the attention of young readers instantly. This fourth book in the "Chronicles of Avantia" series once again finds Tanner, Gwen, Castor and Rufus on an adventure in pursuit of a piece of the ancient Mask of Anoret. This ferocious group already possesses the first three pieces of the key to controlling all of Avanti's beasts. Now, the group must travel to the fiery volcanic lair of Derthsin for this final fight of power. The constant tension and arguing amongst these friends quickly continues to fuel Tanner's hunger for the power of this ancient mask. Struggling to stay united and win this battle, these young warriors face not only the fear of what lies ahead but the knowledge of Tanner's premonition. They must remain united in order to conquer Derthsin's army. With so many losses already, will these four be able to fulfill their goal? Or will this last expedition change their friendship forever? Meet the Author

Adam Blade is in his late twenties, and was born in Kent, England. His parents were both history teachers and amateur artists, and Adam grew up surrounded by his father's paintings of historic English battles which left a lifelong mark on his imagination. He was also fascinated by the ancient sword and shield that hung in his father's office. Adam’s father said they were a Blade family heirloom.

Sadly, Adam does not have his own Ice Dragon or Ghost Panther. But he really wishes he did!
