    Memories of long past

This book brings me back to when I would catch fireflies (we called them lightning bugs) in a glass peanut butter or pasta sauce jar and watch them light it up like a lamp. It also saddens me to hear that according to the news that if things keep going on the way they are that these unique insects may be extinct in ten years.
