Meet the Author

Robert A. Malinzak, MD, is a surgeon with the Center for Hip and Knee Surgery and Joint Replacement Surgeons of Indiana based in Mooresville, Indiana. He earned his medical degree and completed his orthopaedic training at Duke University and is a graduate of Davidson College. Dr. Malinzak is fellowship-trained in adult reconstructive surgery and sports medicine.

Mark J. Albritton, MD, is a surgeon at Resurgens Orthopaedics in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Duke University.

Trevor R. Pickering, MD, is a surgeon with Oxford Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Oxford, Mississippi. He completed his fellowship in adult reconstruction at the Center for Hip and Knee Surgery (Mooresville, Indiana) and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Duke University.

    highly recommended

    this has been very helpful for years. gives the facts that are required to pass the exam. other textbooks for details this one to pass the boards for sure. a must have for the orthopaedist.

    Not great

    I just took my boards in July. This book was probably the least helpful of anything I had. It may be useful for residents or even medical students in terms of learning orthopedic facts, but it is not particularly useful as a board review. It is just to brief to really help pass the boards.
