The stories in this book are very well written for a very early reader. I even found that I understood some of the stories better. A must have in your child's library!

I purchased this book as a gift for eight year old twins who have no knowledge of Christ or any stories from the Bible. When I gave them the book I read the first few pages and they were hooked. They started arguing about who should be the next to read. I was shocked. It touched my heart to know that I was able to introduce them to the Bible and that they took such a great interest in it. My nephew who is ten years old happened to see the Bible and asked if he could look at it. He is taking classes to make his First Communion right now. He asked me if I wouldn't buy him one. I asked him why? He said he liked the way the Bible explained things easier and that he enjoyed it more because there was pictures. I am very happy that I came across this Bible. To tell you the truth I started reading it myself and I'm hooked. It's so nice to see how much thought Barnes & Noble took in putting this Children's Bible together. The bright colored pictures along with easy to understand stories. They won't have any trouble underdstanding what they just read. Irene :)

I must admit, I bought this particular bible because it was an amazing value. Having since looked at the quality of other higher priced children's bibles, I am impressed in so many ways. The illustrations are realistic for kids and give them a clearer understanding of the storied included. The stories are well written and appropriate for kids of any age. I use this bible regularly with my Sunday School Class and the kids are facinated. If you have the opportunity to share stories about God with children, get this book!

My six year old love this little book just fit on her little hands to hold on and she reads it very easily with words that are perfect for her age level.

I read the whole thing, night-by-night, to my twins. The pictures were terrific and the stories were written on a children's level. It was a great experience to share with my children. They are only 2, so I'm sure they didn't grasp much, but they enjoyed it non-the-less. I plan to read it to them every year, starting in January. To start each new year out on the right foot...and I'm sure, as they get older, they'll want it read to them throughout the year.

I bought this book in the hopes of being able to read it to any children my wife and I may have. We've only had foster kids until lately and they have loved it! Now we're going to have a little one of our own and she has had it read to her almost all the way through. I enjoy it because I am a very visual person and the illustrations are wonderful. I'm also dyslexic and this book is an easy read for even me. That's saying a lot coming from the cliff notes king of my highschool. Anyway, BUY IT! What a great value! You can't beat it. Plus, Christian or not you'll be instilling good values and morals in the little ones you read to.
