I loved it. Thank you Elosie!

The book is well written and really pulls the reader into the experience. I participated in the 1998 GTE Big Ride Across America, and I am so happy I found this book. ~ reading it revived so many of the wonderful memories. So a thousand thank you's to Elosie! Your book has even motivated me to seek out other adventures... Godspeed Elosie & Chuck ~

    Great story!

Interesting and well written. Very highly recommended for any inexperienced cyclist considering a long ride because it exemplifies many mistakes novice cyclists make. Also gives insight into the organization and logistics of a large, long-distance cycling event (American Lung Association's Big Ride).

    Shallow and Empty

As an avid bike rider who has undertaken a similar experience, I kept expecting that the writer would have an 'epiphany' of a new direction in her life. Instead of any inspiration all I found was emptyness and shallowness. At least you can keep your wallet from feeling empty...don't buy this book.
