About the Author

​David F. Walker is an award-winning comic book writer and educator. He is the co-creator and co-writer of Bitter Root (Image), Naomi (DC), and author of the graphic novel The Black Panther Party: A Graphic Novel History (Ten Speed Press). He teaches part-time at Portland State University.
Michael Lark is an American comic artist who has contributed to titles such as Batman, Legend of the Hawkman, Terminal City, Gotham Central, the latter written by Ed Brubaker, and Scene of the Crime. His work for Marvel includes titles like The Pulse, Captain America and Daredevil. He illustrates the series Lazarus, written by his Gotham Central collaborator Greg Rucka.
