Editorial Reviews

Beyond Centauri Magazine, Oct. 2008 - Edward Cox
Although First Duty has depth and detail, Dasef ensures that her first duty is to entertainment, as this kind of science fiction demands. The plot and characters have their dilemmas and intricacies, but this tale never forgets to have fun. Dasef has created a universe here, a future for an ever-changing human race that’s just begging to be filled with more stories.

Ms. Dasef gives us an exciting ride of a space adventure. Suited

Ms. Dasef gives us an exciting ride of a space adventure. Suited for all ages, this fast moving story takes us from a dystopian world where the main character is eager to leave for the so-called brilliant future of being in the space program. When she learns the truth, she fights for her family and friends. Cleverly plotted, engaging characters, all promise a good read. Don't miss it.

    Loved this book!

This is such a fun book!! Well, sad too. Nyra is from a planet where the only way out of the normal life is to go into politics or in the Space Service Academy. She chooses to join the Academy. Nyra seems to fall in love with the wrong guys, yes I say it in the plural!! With the revolution, well rebellion going on, Nyra must choose between her duty to the Academy and what she feels is right. What does Nyra choose? You'll have to read the story to find out!!
