The family travels by train to the beach where they play in the sand, and the children cover their father in sand by the water's edge. They are shown on a picnic with their dog where items such as, blanket, umbrella, cheese, are introduced. Common words and phrases involved with everyday life of a family are introduced in this well illustrated book.
