The First Indigan, is a science fiction adventure exploring the science of creation. It is based on my own surgical and military experiences as well as my own response to loss. I especially enjoyed writing the sections on the head transplant which is technically feasible but as yet unperformed in humans. As is proper in science fiction, the science is pushed far

Meet the Author

I am a retired ENT, Head and Neck Surgeon with a love of Science Fiction. The science and medicine in my books is based on reality with some room for growth.

I was forced to retire because of medical problems but still enjoy life with a little fishing, flying and sailing to supplement the joy of my wife, children and grandchildren.

I found thisbook technical, long and drawn out, with not much of a story line.

This story was very enjoyable despite the abundant tenical information (parts sound like a physics or trig story problrm while others read like an engineerimg or medical text book)! Still, when attention was paid to the characters, they are great with great development.... The problem is the 'ending.' The whole story focuses on completion of 'the mission,' yet the book ends when the mission is just getting interesting, no where near completion, nor do the character dynamics seem anywhere near finished. This would have been fine for a short story, but with 650 ebook pages, i expect an ending!!! Or at least another book! I did love the book, but was left feeling that i had wasted my time at the end of it.

some technical stuff that i can't verify cause i'm not a scientist. with that said, i can't put it down for long. just getting to the purpose of the mission. give this book a try.
