It could be a Hallmark Channel Christmas Movie.. perfect for that..:)

The entire story is wonderful. The whole concept about the cookie club and how the whole town got into Christmas was awesome. Everyone has done something super embarrassing in their life that everyone remembers but the author makes it right. I loved that. But the unnecessarily graphic sex scene ruined it. Fortunately, it was only one scene and I told my daughter to skip the cabin scene.

I discovered this author after searching books on my Nook. I really liked the other two books that I read in the series. This book so far is my favorite. I love all the characters that make up the story. Several sub plots going on also. Too bad more communities and towns in this country aren't like Twilight, Tx.
We need to show more compassion & help our neighbors in need. More events & festivals might bring people closer. What better time to read this book & experience Christmas in July!

1st-the+cabin+seen+was+wonderful%2C+but+the+way+she+wrote+Sarah%27s+intimate+reaction+to+Travis+seemed+way%2C+way+out+of+character.+The+story+line+was+great%2C+but+i+would+have+liked+to+see+more+interaction+with+Sarah+%26+Jazzy.

This was the first book I've read from Lori Wilde and since finishing this book, I've added 3 more books by LW to my nook. Conclusion? LW is a GREAT author! I love the chemistry between the two main characters and the relationship between the sisters is funny and heartwarming. Do yourself a favor....get this book! :)

I enjoyed this book so much, I couldn't put it down. The First Love Cookie Club has so much love in it. If you love a nice love story, you would love this one.

Though very young she knew who she one day would marry and on Christmas Eve every year with the cookies under her head dream of her beloved Travis Walker. However when she was fifteen, her fantasy crashed when Travis married someone else. She no longer dreams of kismet.
Almost a decade has passed since her fairy tale died. Sarah has become the successful children's book author Sadie Cool. Ailing Jasmine asks to meet her favorite author so the First Love Cookie Club tries to arrange for Sadie to come to Twilight, Texas. Although she would prefer to refuse, as this is the hometown she fled, Sarah agrees to come see Jazzy, Travis' daughter. Like Sarah, Travis thinks fairy tales are a sham, but neither of them understands the power of the First Love Cookie Club members enhanced by a little girl's Christmas wish.
The return to Twilight, Texas (see The Sweethearts Knitting Club and The True Love Quilting Club) for the holidays is a delightful warm contemporary romance. The cast makes the tale fun to read as the lead couple is obviously in love with each other but though it is déjà vu all over again as they plan to go on with their separate lives. However, the second time has one enormous difference: First Love Cookie Club. Although the story line is thin, fans will enjoy stopping in Twilight for cookies made with TLC.
