Frank is on the road, hitting all the high spots (or the low spots, depending on your point of view). These short stories find him at a peeler bar off the 15 in Montana; encountering a hitch-hiker off the 10 in New Mexico; being sweet-talked by his landlady; romancing a truck-driving sweetheart in a sleeper at a California truck stop; flirting with a waitress in a restaurant in the high desert.

Repetitive. The author writes the same basic scenario over and over and over, not just in this collection of shorts but in every other thing he's written. I don't know how much is fiction or fact...but, the guy in all these stories is apparently a sex magnet that no woman can resist...yeah, riiiight.

This book seems to have no point. I kept reading to see what happened and was very disapointed. Maybe if this was expanded and had more detail it may have potential
